my only complaint so far is that the original story isnt broken up into chapters, so if you quit out you have to restart the entire thing. Yes you can skip story segments, but it still is kinda lame to have to sit through all the text.

I actually like the goofy announcer, but I hope the rumor of unlockables is true.

well I was just talking about the original story, not continuum shift.

Is there an option to save in a sub menu or something? I quit out to try another mode and when I went back in the story started at the opening cutscene.

I was able to skip all the dialogue I had already seen, but I still had to do the fights.

I'm new to the series but it definitely asks you to save during story mode at certain points. I don't think you can do it except for the specific places where it gives you a choice to.

She does. Her 6A is pretty good for punishing air attacks.
And 6B > 6C > 2C > 5C > 3C > whatever can deal good damages too.

Also, no... My Relius is nowhere close to being decent. I only know one combo and like... 1 setup. My blockstrings aren't that good either... Still trying to figure out what can follow up after a hit. Either way, I think the main problem is that you're not finishing your chain drives. It just abruptly stops or do a combo that doesn't connect. Also, you may want to try out Bloom Trigger (236D) or Assault Through (214D) while you're doing chain drives as a finisher. Assault Through is more of a left/right mixup kinda thing but don't do it all the time. You got some hits in but you're not taking advantage of them.

From what little I've watched, it's informative, if a bit too dry (but this might be because I'm familiar with the material).

Anyway, starting tonight at 8PM PST, he's going to stream himself learning characters from scratch. This way, you get insight on how a competitive player thinks and assesses. Can't guarantee how useful it'll be, but I'm tuning in. Just a heads-up for everyone!
