WTF? Vita has a 100 application/game limit?
 

What's the point of buying a 32GB memory when I can't keep all my games and applications in it? I don't want to delete anything; that's the whole point of digital distribution! I have over 140 apps/games on my iPhone, I'm sure Vita can do better!

EDIT: in case someone is wondering: My memory card still has 9GB space left. I have around 50 minis, 10 PSOne titles, 20 or so mandatory apps, and 20 Vita/PSP games/apps.

Is there even a logical reason for this? 100 is a lot though so it might be patched later.

Vita could use some folders

This has been known for a long time. 10 page limit, 10 items to a page. We need folders and will hopefully get them soon.

Unfortunately, it looks as if the Vita has a 100 app limit regardless of the memory card that's in the system. Apparently you can't switch out cards like you can in the PSP.

Wii can hold more than 100 games. 48 on the main menu and up to 240 more on the SD menu iirc.

A folder system would be welcome, but I wonder if it would have anything to do with being able access the OS/Home Screens/Other Apps while apps are running.

Why has folders become such a low prio feature? Even Wii U doesn't have it. It's not rocket science.

It was only 48 for the first couple of year, they did fix it with the SD card patch.

I know you're joking, but there are several people with this problem. I have well over a hundred with Vita retail, downloadable, minis, PSP, and PS1, but I have them spread over two 16gb cards so it's not a problem for me.

This is actually fucking disastrous IMO.

The 3DS one keeps expanding by 60 when space is running out to accommodate all of your programs. I don't think it has a hard, arbitrary limit.

It's using an internal flash memory that has a limit.

you do have options, you can back up the games all together on your PS3 or computer, wirelessly to boot. If you have PS Plus you can do the really easy method and just back your saves up right to cloud storage.

I think Plus Cloud saves fixes this problem. Of course getting all those free minis and Vita games probably helped you get to the 100 app limit quicker.
