Namco Bandai's USA site listed ES along with the ESRB.org before that. Both of them pretty much listing ES somewhat shows the game might be coming stateside.le.phat said:

I was going to post notthisshitagain.gif but figured I could do something else...
Things to note:
- Region: JP Japan / US America / EU Europe / A Asia
- Its a list of 'major' titles in 2008 (FY), probably listed by sales targets, so <400k expected titles aren't showing up here
News:
- New DB title for DS, expecting 500k from the japanese and european release.
- ToV listed for PS3 for a brief moment. 2nd Half release (October - March) for both JP and US release. European release not planned, at least in 2008 from Namdai.
- DBZ Burst Limit US release is handled by Atari so it isn't listed here.
- New Taiko no Tatsujin for Wii, planned just for Japan on the second semester (Oct - Mar).
- New 'Tales of' for DS, planned for Oct - Mar just in Japan and Asia.
- The new Naruto title for PS3 is known already (but I don't remember the name), worldwide release on the 2nd half bit is new (or is it?)
- New Gundam title for PSP just for Japan on the 2nd half. There's a Gundam Battle game scheduled for PSP on the 1st half, so this is a different one. The sales expectations, 400k, is quite big (would exceed any Gundam title sales on PSP before), so it could mean a SEED or SD Gundam G Generation entry.

My guess on time frames:
ES 360 -> ES PS3 == ToV 360 -> ToV PS3
We'll know exactly what sort of wait that involves where we finally see ES PS3 on store shelves.

IMO, if only Tekken 6 was the game that was going to get released for the PS3 2009, it would still be the "year of the PS3". Most anticipated game of the forever~CcrooK said:

Well regardless of where it comes out I'm interested. My rekindled interest in JRPGs has me looking at the franchise again and I'm ready to go and buy my ticket for the hype train.
Though, it's pretty obviously confirmed to be hitting the PS3 as well, I don't see it being very feasible to hit their target of 500k on just the 360, given the lack of interest of the hardware in Japan and the lack of interest of JRPG software on the platform in the west. Has LO even passed 500k yet?

It's obviously been removed, but I'm not sure why you seem so dead set against a PS3 release. I prefer to play Tales games in Japanese and the PS3 makes this easy due to lack of region coding. It's disappointing that it is an XBOX360 only release for this reason.Jonnyram said:
