Because it seems like with Burnout Paradise, your saved games are locked to your PSN account (instead of only your user account) so they can verify that you haven't used someone else's saved game for it.
I'll have to check with the programmer, but I don't think Uncharted was locked that way since it was a SP game and therefore technically didn't need to talk with your PSN id.
