Based on the status of the cut Melee characters in Brawl, it seems that Sakurai kind of goes out of his way not to remind everyone that cut characters were in previous Smashes. Mewtwo's Brawl trophy, for instance, was his Battle Revolution model instead of the superior Melee model.

Finally the game has leaked! Brawl leaking was the reason I joined NeoGAF back in 2008 so it's amazing to come full circle and be here for the leak of Smash 4!

Reddit mods deleted 2 leak threads...and then a mod made his own leak thread.
I was expecting him until the Smash Direct showed his shadow over Pyrosphere.
When the next Smash is announced, I'll hope for him again.
