The February issue of Persona Magazine will feature P5MC in the cover.

It's still available for pre-order on Amazon.jp.

Hopefully out of the P5 and P4D coverage we will get some new info.

Anyone know what the "special clear file" being referenced for P4D is?

Almost feel like ordering it, but it's inevitable that it won't have any new P5 or P4D info, unfortunately.

A "clear file", as in what you store papers and other documents in. It's a common promotional item, and this one would presumably feature P4D art on its surface.

I pre-ordered it just because I want a real Persona Magazine (with P5 special) in my own hands haha.
The ps tv deal went away in less than a minute. Aww
I managed to put it in my cart when it was 39% claimed. It was gone by the time I finished my order.

I like importing from Amazon Japan, because I never have to worry about import fees there.

Looking at #September, 50% of the magazine will probably be Persona manga stuff. The rest is most likely going to be around 80 pages of Persona 4: Dancing All Night, Persona 5, Persona Super Live 2015, Persona 3 The Movie and News Flash! Persona Channel 2015 (the votes) content/interviews. I don't think they can really include information that aren't rehashes from Famitsu/Dengeki, since Persona Magazine is distributed by Dengeki.

Then again, Persona Magazine #Re:birth included some interesting information through interviews that wasn't seen anywhere else before, but those were also probably different circumstances.

Can anyone tell what it says is going to be featured after Persona 5 in the image arue posted? "Persona 4 [something]"?

It's 2000 1200 JPY shipping through Amazon Global and it's the only shipping option. Total with shipping is around $18 USD.

Interesting. What about shipping times? I just would like to get an idea if I should send it home for over Spring Break if its going to take around that time.

It's 3-day DHL shipping. I ordered some things from them before and it arrived within 2 days!

"Persona 4 Dancing All Night" and (to the right) "Supplement: Persona 4 Dancing All Night special clear file"

They're calling the issue a "special edition" to introduce P5 and P4D.

I might need to buy this.

So I bought the magazine. Can't read Japanese or whatever... But out of all the things out there that'd be cool to have as a collectible for this franchise? This is the one I can totally get down with.

If you do, make sure to tell us if there's anything new in there!
In fact I just pre-ordered it. I figured it's only €7 and won't add much weight to my next tenso package, so what the heck... Like you said, I doubt there'll be any new info, and if there is it'll be all over the internet in a matter of minutes anyway, but it will probably make a nice collectible.

You know, you'd think that, but last time it took until February 2014 until someone (pepsiman) decided to translate the new Persona info that was in the #Re:birth magazine, which had come out in December 2013. Two months. Hopefully things will be a bit different this time, if there is any new info, heh.

Just going to point out that Narukami could probably beat the shit out of Glasses-kun.

Glasses-kun might be a master thief, but he still has the build of a twelve-year-old girl. Narukami's portrayal as some super swag player are inaccurate, but he's still a pretty tough guy.

Normally I'd say something like "We don't actually know what glasses-kun looks like under all that!" but given how downright decked Yu is in recent materials, I'm not sure it matters.

Even besides that, he's always been portrayed as a pretty manly guy. He's easily the toughest of the Persona protagonists
(SUCK IT P2 FANS)
. Glasses-kun seems more be more intellectual than tough.

It all seems to be depending on the portrayal. Atlus isn't sure if they want Yu to be the everyman type or if he's a more manly type.

However tougher than Tatsuya? Idonthinksotim.gif

This is also under the assumption that the fight would be a more traditional one dependent on strength. Glasses-kun seems notably more agile

Reminds me of the Persona 5 poster that was the music concert the whole time, but we didn't find out about it until someone just decided to upload it to twitter.

That one might be a bit more understandable, at least, since I think what this blog post says is that the posters were added at a period after the concert had started at 6:30 PM JST, so that people would then notice them after PSL2015 ended and they were leaving the concert hall. 'Course, that meant anyone who went in the lobby after the posters were added would be able to leak pics (which is what happened at 8:15 PM JST, when someone took that shot).

I can't imagine that'll be the case this time around, with alle the Persona 5 hype going on. But if there's still nothing in English on the web a week after the magazine comes out, I'll gladly step up to the task and do a line-by-line exegesis of all the P5 stuff in the issue.

I dont find either of those accurate. Yu is still a badass, its now just easy to assume Phantom is as well. Yu is just more Tony Stark to Phantom's Batman

No worries, I was mostly joking with that post. That said... even speaking as the #1 Narukami gaf fanboy, I don't think things would go down that simply.

gay porn?

You and I both know it would be more intense than that.

I can't believe it's only been a week since we discovered that poster. It was such a good time when everybody on the IRC was freaking out to see P5MC's design.

More countdown for P6 pls Atlus.

I think it depends who's portraying him. Soejima's art always has him portrayed as pretty masculine.

CDJapan has it as well. I think I'll bite since I have a bunch of points expiring next month and nothing to spend it on.

So #February is considered the April 9, 2015 issue of Persona Magazine? These dates are weird, man.

Considering how much attention they got through announcing their stuff independently via the November 24, 2013 event, News Flash! Persona Channel 2015 and Persona Super Live 2015, that's pretty likely. At least, I wouldn't expect any big, future Persona games or several smaller ones (spin-offs and such) initially announced via Famitsu or some other magazine anymore.

It's been a while, PersonaGAF! I just hit December in P4G, and it warned me that DRAMATIC EVENTS are gonna be starting soon!

So yeah, this is the part where the decisions you make affect the ending right? Is there a decent guide anywhere on how to get the best possible ending? I'm not too good with these kinds of things. >_<

I agree that Atlus will likely stick to handling their own announcements from this point, considering that it seems to have worked out well for them. I'm sure the fact that P5 has been a long time coming has certainly played into the number of streams and teases we've received so they might not go as crazy, but I'm sure Atlus will skew more towards this style of announcement rather than it being announced via Famitsu.
