Just encountered a strange bug. I had completed the game but had gone back to fight Vorcelon. I had collected all of the Zoni, Constructo Mods and holo-plans but still had a few gold bolts to get. I hover-booted off the ramp at the entrance to the ship, and fell the my death near the side of the ship. When I respawned, I was back at the ship but it was like the first time you go there to rescue Quark. Now I have a challenge mode save file (bolt multiplier), and I seem to have started a new game, but at Vorcelon's ship instead of the Great Clock or the Zolar Forest. All the scripted events were working, and I was getting tips like you would get at the beginning of a new game (your health/ammo is full, controls instructions, etc.) On the loading screen, it says I have 40/40 Zoni, but on the Aphelion screen in the menu it says 0/40, although all my upgrades are still there. So, what do I do?

This is the weird challenge mode bug that morphs your non-challenge mode game with a challenge mode.
It happens when you cancel out of the save for challenge mode as a way of saying no.
Patch forthcoming.
