You've been pretty lucky in that respect. Most girls around me are the type that act nice, you tell them your secrets and then they talk behind your back. It doesn't help that now I have some trust issues in general and can't tell if a person is being genuine. I've encountered similar problem with guys but it's rather this than that. The one girl/woman I'm talking with on the net seems to be really nice and honest and can see how it is better to have girlfriends, I've yet to encounter them in person except for some random ones that didn't feel like best friends material :/

The way guys act here it makes me scared to post my picture. Some people will save it to their hard drive and it will pop up again in responce of what you said or if someone mentions you in a different thread.

Once the picture is out there you can never take it back.

Is it me or are there way more girls than I thought on here. Suddenly Gafs female population jumped from 2 to 10 (which for the record is a 500% increase).

It really just doesn't come up that often. I mean, I make references to my husband and my son, but that doesn't necessarily mean I'm a woman. Otherwise I'm just a GAFfer, hating on folks and posting about LOST.

I got nothing much to say here but I want to point out that while I'm female, that doesn't necessarily mean I wish to act like one. I think my gender is obvious online but I don't try to pretend otherwise. Its more or less like, why do you care? o_O'

I think it's safe to say that, no matter what you look like, no matter what gender you are, no matter how beautiful or ugly you are, if you've ever posted your picture on the internet, someone, somewhere has fapped to it, because everybody is somebody's fetish.

If you tell yourself that, and just learn to accept it, it's no big deal really.

^reason why I keep my facebook on "friends only". I only add friends that I know in person or if I have meet them online I must know them for at least 2 years before adding them and they usually have a gf.

So I was re-reading the DIY Forum in WarioWare DIY today, and I'm pretty sure Sparkles is a girl, because all of the other posters treat her pretty similar to the way all the guys treat the girls here on GAF. idk, I could be wrong about this... it just made me think of this thread though, how similar the two are...
