(モノリスソフト(京都スタジオ)×イマジカデジタルスケープ共同募集) Monolith Soft (Kyoto Studio) × Imagica Digital Scouts Joint Call

Monolith Soft (Kyoto) and Imagica Digitalscape are officially collaborating together to assist in the creation of 3DCG (3DCGデザイナー) for the The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Monolith Soft (Kyoto) studio has worked as an additional art / asset team on several Zelda titles (including Tokyo group also working on cinema planning assistance / some animation on Skyward Sword). Imagica Digitalscape has also served a similar role on many Zelda titles (as well as several other marquee titles like Resident Evil, XenoBlade and Final Fantasy). The collaboration of the two 3DCG companies will take place in the Kyoto Studio of Monolith Soft.

There were multiple recruit campaigns launched in 2016 for this project.

Collaborated you mean, no? Because BOTW is pretty much complete at this point.

Wait.

I've never heard the term "3DCG". Are they literally talking about 3D CGI animation? Are we getting animated shorts, or pre-rendered CG cutscenes in game?
