Oh, I'm not arguing that Chrono Trigger isn't a great game, especially when it came out. I just don't think it's perfect by any stretch.
GameInformers. Judging by the cover, it'll have BotW in it, opening the "Is Zelda an RPG" can of worms. Which will be made even worse because no other Zelda will appear on the list. Also, there is no way everyone voting on this list have played through the recent games, BotW, Horizon, P5 so they'll probably be lower than many might expect.

I think I recall when Game Informer did their top 200 games of all time, that they put FF6 in the top ten. I don't think you need to worry about it not making it into the top 25 of just RPGs.

I had that exact same thought. Looks like a rejected PSM cover or something.
Im playing the DS version and the fighting the same enemies once you enter an area and go back is annoying, I have fought the same enemies like 7 times in the same place now in the first dungeon/castle.

Me too I liked it as well and came here to say the exact same thing.... reminds me of all the cool covers and art PSM used to get.
Was one of my favorite parts of PSM actually... even if I didn't prefer the art per se, or thought the characters didn't really match their source (I remember a Tidus one in particular that looked nothing like him lol), it was still kinda cool to see every month.
PSM/early-mid PS2 era probably my favorite era of gaming magazines other than probably late SNES/PS1 era GameFan

KOTOR ahead of Baldur's Gate II? Don't agree with that at all, especially if you aren't going to include KOTOR 2 at all(!).
