The video above is the way to switch using different memory card. So to switch the vita account without switching a memory card, do I just follow the same step above, but without taking out the memory card while formatting the machine? That's a long video for what only takes a couple mins. :)
Yeah, I did exactly what he did except I never took the memory card out. And I didn't deactivate the system. I didn't see the point in doing so because the activation is tied to the system ID. It won't be lost just because I switch accounts and format settings.
In other words, when I log back into my Japanese account in the future, it will already be activated from my first time.
