If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free
EPIC Fire Emblem sales
Vita vs. Wii for the next weeks should be entertaining.

Sweet, sweet Fire Emblem numbers. Really happy to see it doing so well.

Other than that it looks like the PSP may go below 10k too in the coming weeks. Well, after Golden Week.

Wow. FE is amazing, but CoP and 3DS hardware could have been higher...

Edit: 3DS will cross 1.5 million YTD next week! :O

GREAT first week for Fire Emblem, but everything else looks weak. Makes some sense, as we approach Golden Week. I was hoping for a slightly better start for Code of Princess, though.

01./00. [3DS] Fire Emblem: Awakening # <SLG> (Nintendo) {2012.04.19} (¥4.800) - 242.600 / NEW[

Amazing figures for this new entry.

It has sold in its first week what both Fire Emblem: New Shadow Dragons and the Blade of Light and Fire Emblem: Shin Monshou no Nazo: Hero of Light and Shadow sold on NDS during their lifetime.

Going forward, Fire Emblem looks to be a premiere Nintendo franchise once again. Great to see.

Great opening for Fire Emblem, hopefully it'll have the legs to break 400k, maybe even 500k. Vita seems to have stabilized at around 8k, let's see what Golden Week does for its sales. Being outsold 10-1 isn't good though.

And Vita vs. Wii is the new GBA vs. PS3!

Not as much of a hardware boost for 3DS as I expected, but still good. Great numbers for Fire Emblem... awful numbers for everything else -_-

Golden Week cometh

If Nintendo really sold 30k of the bundle through their online store there's like no way MC was tracking them seeing how the rise is only 20k.

Mc usually specifically says if their numbers includes bundles and such. Since there's no mention of that they may not have included whatever numbers Nintendo sold themselves. Maybe we will get details on this on Friday when media create updates their own page.

Second best opening for the series since it is likely that Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem debuted higher.

Walruses, camels, bears, rabbits, tigers and badgers.
I think a pretty interesting developing story is Super Mario Land 3D consistently selling better then Mario Kart 7. All current signs point to SML3D becoming one of the huge evergreen titles that the Wii and DS saw, even though it is mainly a 3D Mario. But will New Super Mario Bros 3DS eat into SML3D's numbers, and is it really smart to release another Mario so soon with the first one still selling so well?

We shall see.

Yeah with all the focus on Vita and 3DS, PSP's drop week after week has gone unnoticed. That Sony hardware is shrinking fast.

The hardware sales gained from NSMB 2 far outweighs any software sales lost by it. Nintendo wants to put the Vita to rest asap. They have the Wii-U to focus and need all the third party support they can get on the 3DS. With that said, I don't think NSMB 2 will eat into SML3D sales that much, they're different enough to sell side by side, and its more likely that both games will compliment each other rather than cannibalize each others sales.
