Ouch at WiiU

36K seems good, and everything else seems normal hardware wise, even the Wii U.

Seems GoW:A didn't do so hot in Japan. Obviously that's not a big market for the game, but it seems to fit the worldwide picture.

PSP surges back to the top spot on Media Create charts, beating the new major releases on PS3 and 3DS. So much for the platform being dead in Japan!

Two weeks before Game & Wario is released, hold on Wii U!

GoW:A less than half of what GoWIII did.

What's wrong with SAO ? Is the game bad ?

SAO refusing to let us forget that it exists. I was hoping that it being sold out locally was just a middle-of-nowhere thing, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. Word of mouth seems to be pretty not so great though, so I'm expecting a large drop off next week.

The SRW numbers aren't surprising either. Visually, it doesn't look much better than the DS games, and the series they picked aren't particularly great either.

Is this the highest debut for one of these HD collections in Japan?

It's the Twilight of Young Adult novels in Japan. The anime is extremely popular too. So some people are mad it's making money. Lol.

I believe so. It's deserving, since it appears SQenix actually put a lot of work into it.

A 360 game selling above the only WiiU game on the list. Sad.

not to bad vita sales. SS could have done better but its not as bad as it could be. Also dont know digital sales which really sucks.

Wonder if the MC results will show double packs again in the chart.

The hardware boost will come from the DQX hardware bundles, not from anything else, and it will be over very quick.

Animal crossing is doing pretty damn good. It just keeps on selling. Next week, 3DS' ltd will reach 11m. Wow.

So, who was saying last week that Vita will be the number one for the weeks and months ahead?

Who will cross 2 mil first?? If NSMB2 stays steady it will, but if MK increases like it did this week. It could be really close.

NSMBU about to cross 500k and has a 60 or 70% attach rate. Pretty good.

The steady stream of good performing new releases lately is something unexpected to me.
I don't remember when we got so many new releases successively reaching the top with these figures.

good hold for Vita, if it will be able to stabilyze at 25k or something like that.
I was expecting more from KH 1.5: I think that the underwhelming performance of KH3D were not due only to the 3ds.

Soul Sacrifice held better than I thought (expected more an 80+% drop).

Wii U will cross streams with GameCube next week.

I wonder how FFX|X-2 HD Remaster will do in Japan. Not to mention that FFX is (or was) the top 1 most favorite game in Famitsu Japan.

Agreed. I've been playing it, and it's very clear they actually put a lot into making these games shine. Glad it's doing well.

Nintendo really needs to get some games out the door to improve sales.

They have been sitting on Wii Fit U, Pikmin 3, and Wonderful 101 for a while with not even a hint of a release coming soon for any of them.

More or less on par. Compared to the DS releases it's the lowest opening yet, but they've been declining with each release anyway. It should end up selling close to the previous DS release which did like 160k or so iirc. The bigger console versions of SRW sell much, much more.

Better than I expected for PS Vita this week... good news.

And next week, with Pirate Warriors 2 on the streets, numbers should be better... 40k at least.

Are these good sales for Kingdom Hearts HD? They seem alright to me but I don't know.

I also wonder if the Wii U has any big titles releasing soon over there that can move units, because those sales are just atrocious. Soon enough it is going to be competing with it's predecessor for the 5th spot on this chart.

How much longer will Soul Sacrifice be able to sell? I'm assuming that if it's still selling at the current rate next week it'll be a long selling title.

You guys do remember that is also coming out on the PS3 right?

36k is pretty good for a week with no major new release exclusive to vita.

I think if sony can stabilize the release calendar a bit, and get up to a good exclusive one every two weeks, they could easily sustain 50k+ a week.

Hopefully there is some major wheeling and dealing going on at sony HQ to try to get more titles, more regularly.
