That's so last gen. I vote for megatransactions given that we're talking about millions of in-game credits for sale. I get the anger and fear about these things negatively affecting in-game economies to push credit-purchases, but I still don't understand why so many weren't expecting them to happen like crazy this gen when all the big publishers were basically talking this shit up years ago. There will certainly be a place for those games that decide against using these kinds of cash grabs, but I don't think these options will kill off those that employ it. In fact, I can kind of see many taking to it like they do with mobile games and F2P titles.
