So I shouldn't like Team Fortress 2 because people choose to spend thousands on hats, or Dota 2/LoL because people do the same. Just because the option for microtransactions is there doesn't mean it fundamentally influences the player of affects the way the game is played.

It's not a piece of DLC that they are announcing before the game is even out like Forza 5, all 1,000+ cars in the game are on disc and you are able to either win them in races or unlock through credits that you earn just by playing the game.
