Actually you'll find that people are annoyed by all the examples you just listed. I know I am. Ratchet and Clank should have put out of its misery years ago, and seeing that Naughty Dog is working on another Uncharted instead of making something genuinely new for the new generation turns my stomach.

At this point practically half the library of the Wii U is platformers. Yes we know that platformers tend to sell better on Nintendo hardware hence why they show up there but when you put out so many in such a short time you drive people off.

Retro should have been working on something fresh that could introduce a rarely used genre not yet another platformer and stupidly enough not another Donkey Kong right after porting the last to handhelds. The franchise isn't that popular to be releasing so much so soon.
