I was definitely disappointed, because I wasn't a huge fan of Donkey Kong Country Returns, even though I was a huge fan of the original Donkey Kong Country. Seriously, the SNES title was one of my most played games. The newer game just didn't feel the same to me.

That being said, I know Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze will be a quality title, and a lot of people liked the first Returns. It's also what Retro wants to do, so more power to them. But it's a disappointment when they were the developer of such a great and innovative title such as Metroid Prime. A lot of that talent has left, so I can understand, though.
