What if I've never enjoyed Donkey Kong?
Nintendo has an owned western studio, and after three very well-regarded Metroid games with a very unique look and atmosphere among Nintendo's historic titles, they have them working on two SNES throwbacks back-to-back.
Instead of either making a new or different Metroid, or squandering an opportunity for a new IP, we'll have to wait atleast two more years now in HOPE that it's something else.
If this is what Retro wanted to do, I wish them well with it. I don't want to insult the hard work they're probably pouring into this game. I just wanted them to do something more appealing to me.
