From everything I've seen about tropical freeze while the gameplay does look to be tight as hell and the game could be extremely awesome, there are already tons of titles that fill its role.

I wanted something unexpected! Hell I have no issue's with Donkey Kong but...another platformer? Do a follow up to DK64 or something on that order! That would have been exciting!

I dont think I am disappointed with tropical freeze but I wasn't expecting something so cut and dry? I mean I doubt it'll be bad because that reveal trailer looked delicious.

To me this would feel like if Retro was doing a follow up to Other M.

They'd probably do a great job, but it's still a direct sequel to something I thought was awful in its respective series.
