There are very few issues with the 3DS that aren't completely overshadowed by it's amazing game library. I'd say that the lack of account system and region lock are the only major problems. (Maaaaaaaaaaaaaybe the battery life.)

But if you want to play games(!!!), and have a absolute treasure trove of options, the 3DS is king.
