It's like having a talented college grad work in Fast food.

... Sure, they can do a great job at it given they have the drive and discipline to make it through college and fast food is pretty simple work ... plus everyone likes fast food. Buuuuut they can do so much more.

Retro has shown they can do so much more with a game then make good DK 2D platformers. Fan-boys have been calling them "Nintendo's ND" because of the prime series in hope that Nintendo would give them something to work on that could really bring in the "Western Gaming" feel that you see with ND and such to their console of choice.

But no, they gave them DK and of course they did a great job pumping new life into a series that's had it's "15mins of fame" ... and of course it was a hit. But instead of bouncing off of that and making something NEW and BIG and UNIQUE either they or Nintendo or both decided they wanted to ride this DK train.

Hopefully they get enough money to break into 2 teams one day ...
