It sucks that people use it when all it means is "make the game I want, or it won't sell." Your opinion doesn't weigh more than mine because of sales, it's a cheap argument that only drives away the pro-camp, rather than encourage healthy discussion.

Everything is about balance. Hell, at least Nintendogs and Wii Fit were radically different games. They turned out to be huge successes. Great. but putting out platformer after platformer is a terrible strategy. You have to balance out your library.

Or not and live with the results, like they are doing with the Wii U. Remember, it needs a massive turn around to match Gamecube numbers which is considered a miserable and absolute failure by Nintendo.
