If you're making the argument about how DKCTF's a bad idea financially, a Metroid Prime 4 is an even worse idea going off how the trilogy sold in comparison to one DKCR.

Besides a new franchise depending on what it was (which I've repeatedly stated was what I wanted to see from Retro over another DKC), I don't think anything concerning a pre-existing Nintendo IP would be leading to big sales hit for the Wii U. At least there's a precedence for DKC.
