has it been mentioned already that no one that worked in Metroid Prime is at Retro nowadays? people keep repeating how Retro made mp1 but all the staff behind that game is gone from Retro. there's very little people left that worked in the sequels.

while mp2 was kind of polarizing in reception (people either liked or hated it. imo it was better than mp1), mp3 turned to be the weakest entry and was going in a bad direction (super linear and too much action focus).
if anything, Retro should be making a new IP but, since Nintendo is the one making the decisions, a new IP that caters to the west is very unlikely from them.

and, while DKCR was just okay imo, most of the problem was the controls. now that there's non-motion controls and the devs are more comfortable with the style, DKCTF could end up better than DKCR (mp2 was better than mp1 in several ways. that game suffered from a rushed schedule)
