this is not what i meant. If anything, it proves my point. You do know Wii U has been selling like crap the past 11 months, yeah? 2D Mario has not shifted any systems. I was talking about gaming charts in general, not Wii U charts alone. And Mario being the best selling game, is because the first 6 months, the line-up consisted of rushed, late ports, of games easily available on other consoles for a fraction of the price. The BUNDLE (which is not the same thing as a system seller) is selling, because it's economically the best Wii U deal you can get (2 games, on disc, best price) and there has been a streak of good games coming out the past months.

It's not because 30 million people wanted to buy the game because they owned the system, that they will buy the system to own the game.
