schuelma

Wastes hours checking old Famitsu software data, but that's why we love him.
Some nice PSP software sales. Impressive.

Wiifit is still at Number 1.

Amazing. That game is going to be a monster when its finished selling (if it finishes selling).

24./00. [WII] News Channel (Nintendo)

Whats this?

27./33. [PS2] Yakuza 2 (Sega)

This still selling??:lol But whatever, its a great game.

Galactic Fork

A little fluff between the ears never did any harm...
PSP and DS both with 3 in the top 10. Seems wrong somehow!

And again the difference between FFIV in famitsu and MC. Probably around 14k.

I saw yggdra union GBA at gamestop the other day for like a nickel or something. I really have to stop putting off getting it. I doubt we'll get the PSP version.

Edit: Seems I don't know how to count, DS has 4. Order is restored.

ZealousD

Makes world leading predictions like "The sun will rise tomorrow"
Boo! Tales of Innocence dropped out of the top 30.

BTW Namco, plz localize kthx.

sphinx

the piano man
I just noticed New Super Mario bros is not in the top 30.

when did this happen??

Mario kart and Animal crossing prevailed O_O.

also, interesting trend to see Final Fnatasy IV having phenomenal legs, it's # 11 after all these weeks. Any other FF remake beside III wished it had this kind of longevity.

You'll be relieved to know that the price listed is 0 yen.

:lol That's better. I wonder why they're putting it out in disc form? The only people that could use it would be the ones with an internet connection, and they would be able to download it anyway.

Wait, is this the same channel we got in a free update a while back?

How would Media Create even track downloads to Wiis, unless this was some sort of retail release? And I assumed the News Channel would have been there for months now...must be something else?

Did Monster Hunter Portable 2 have a price drop?

Surprised to see it back in the top 10 lately.

G is coming out soon, and for some insane reason, people seem to be getting MHP2 to get ready. I dunno, it makes no sense to me. Maybe people think you need MHP2 for G to work, like a PC expansion pack(that's a joke by the way).

PSP owners continue to suck. SO1 have no legs yet they continue this Monster Hunter stuff...

Monster Hunter is good stuff. Don't blame it

When do we estimate Galaxy hitting a million in Japan? I know it's already sold 4 or 5 million worldwide, but it would be nice for such a great game to hit a million in each territory.

Winning Eleven brought in a bunch of new owners and they picked up MHP2?

sprsk

force push the doodoo rock
I think you can attribute the current MHP2 surge to the MHP2G commercials running on TV and what not.

Wow @ PSP soft sales.

I always wondered why 'Lucky Star' isn't written in Katakana... The world is such a puzzling place :|

I guess all those people buying PSP in droves each week are finally realizing it can play games too...

I'm so delighted to see the good sales for Yggdra Union. Hopefully it encourages Sting to keep it up with the awesome portable 2D sprite RPGs.

To be fair, though, while the PSP games' placement is good, the absolute numbers aren't astounding (77K is definitely good, 21K and 17K debut less so) - of course, that applies to all other games outside of the top 3 or 4, since I guess it's a really slow week.

Is 17k good for a PSP remake? I honestly don't know.

Riviera PSPmake numbers would be the best comparison, no?

Anyone with numbers for both that AND the previous Winning Eleven Ubiquitos? I coulda sworn this is, like, a colossal improvement in sales for that franchise on the PSP.
