I still haven't finished Crack in Time. This definitely isn't that exciting if true. Sony should have looked at God of War Ascension's sales and saw that people need a break sometimes. God of War and Ratchet need to sit on the bench for at least 2 more years.

IT could be on PS4.

However, if its PS3 then forget it.

Hell, even if it was 60 FPS 1080P on PS3, I still wouldn't want it.

Why not? I can understand the disappointment if it isn't on PS4, but why wouldn't you want it?

As far as I'm concerned, they have.

Simply put I don't want to play any more current generation titles once next-gen begins.

Who wants games on outdated hardware with far more advanced and exciting games available?

A ratchet on PS4 would open new possibilities. A Ratchet on PS3 would be more of the same lame crap we've had the last few years.

PS4 or don't bother, I say.

Fair enough. What if we're looking at a PS3 release before the PS4 launches?

I HIGHLY DOUBT that would happen.

If it did, I might give it a shot.

Depending on if it was a real quality Ratchet release.

Although if it did release before PS4, it would likely be some banal and bland digital download title like FFA and wouldn't be worth it.

If they were planning a FULL Ratchet game for release, they would've announced it by now.

I'd certainly up for a PS4 Ratchet game. I do hope they drop the multiplayer focus though. All 4 One was fun, but not nearly up to par with the series' best.

Looks like it. Sounds great, glad that they're doing a game in the Future series again.

sorry naughty dog, but if this comes out this year, insomniac will beat you in the sony ip game yet again. acit/gc r&c is best r&c.

I always thought that the Future trilogy didn't originally include Quest for Booty.

The "Where are all the lombax's?" story ending with "They're nowhere" made absolutely no sense to me. It would be like if the Jak Trilogy ended without the Precursors reveal.

With Gamescom and TGS upcoming, why announce now? I suppose to answer my own question, those games' conferences are far less about the press conferences than E3. If a new PS4 game is announced in this lull of news, it could dominate the next generation talk for a week or so.

I would assume this is the rationale.

No specific mention of "next-generation" or new platform makes me think PS3.

Considering it hasn't even been officially announced yet & all the news about the PS4, I would bet on a PS4 exclusive.

Are there two Insomniac teams? One working on Sunset Overdrive and the other on this R&C?

Soo glad they are sticking with their guns on the difficult puzzle solving Clank sections...most refreshing part of Crack in Time

I really hope it is PS4. It would look like a Pixar movie. It would also be a really odd time to announce a new first party PS3 game.

I dont know where else to post this but there is a huge weird gameplay/story dissonance in Crack in Time
Clank-"No Ratchet/Asimov we can never use the clock to change time!"
Uses clock to go back in time when meeting back with Ratchet multiple times to change time to fix very minor things

Looks like they have gone back to the Future series characters as well. Can't say I was a fan of the A4O/FFA style bar Ratchets design. No way A4O/FFA Clank would fit on Ratchets back with a head that big =P

Yeah, well I have to admit... I am not a big Insomnaic fan, but I did play Future. So if this is PS4 and in the Future series... I dunno.

I'm not won over yet. But yeah. I just don't have much faith in Insomniac.
