Yeah, I wear my (snow leopard) hat pretty much every day in the winter. Nobody ever gives a shit, the worst I get is awkward stares, and it makes meeting other furs pretty simple.

For me, each year the furry group would get a decent batch of new faces, but they'd largely peter out after a few weeks. Pretty much the same as any club, really. I don't know that the number of furs is growing with each year or anything, though I wouldn't entirely doubt it. It seems like much of the most ardent anti-fur commentary has dissipated over the years chiefly because people got bored and started annoying other people. (Or I could just be perceiving it differently. Who knows!)

). I know that one of my friend's friends is one (she mentioned it to me in passing), but other than that, I guess they keep to their inner circles. Or they don't have a club to go to in this college, heh.

for that. There's just a number of people who I've befriended who revealed it later, and a number of people who make it completely obvious and act like dickheads about it in public places. Fursecution, etc etc etc.

Then there's the guy who helped me with my homework, opened his downloads folder to find the syllabus, and out spilled a bunch of porn.

Actually no. ._. Was kind of disturbing too, most of it was cub.

The only "other way around" experience I have is hanging out with friends who don't know what yiff is, and forgetting to clear my history.
