Judging by the individual platform charts, it's probably safe to say that the vast majority of LCU sales were on the Switch.

In any event, the Japanese domination on the top of the charts is really exciting.

Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!
Nintendo Switch (no digital sales)
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Lego City Undercover
1-2 Switch
Puyo Puyo Tetris
Super Bomberman R
The Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+
Just Dance 2017
Skylanders Imgainators

Didn't think Lego City Undercover would've been higher than 1-2 Switch (Nintendo said it had "strong sales" in April, whatever that means though). Certainly the drop-off between 2nd and 3rd must be important (more than 100k). Still, it's a safe assumption that the Switch version of LCU played a major role in bringing total sales up to 13th in the charts.

It's impressive to see Siege still chugging along nicely. Still hoping it paves the way for more tactical shooters on consoles going forward.

If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free
It's a brand new console that just launched not long ago it would be very worrying if it didn't outsell the other 2 machines lol

Being new doesnt necessarily mean that people have to care...look at WiiU/3DS after the initial launch sales. Meanwhile Switches still sell out asap and people wanna play more and more games on that machine.

Pokémon Stars will smash the Switch into orbit. It's already rocketing off through the clouds right now.

ARMS will be the first test if new IP from Nintendo can do it, but all signs point to yes at the moment.

How does this translate to unit sales, considering P5 is $60 retail and the previous PS2 games were cheaper for their release?

I expect it to be higher unit-wise as well, just that the use of "packaged dollar sales" seemed like a particular specific term to be used.

isn't there also a $79 Version of the game?

NES Classic was number 2 yet they are discontinuing it. Such a stupid move.

But I have no doubts people heard it was being ceased and went out and bought shitloads of them.

P5 doing 5x P4's launch is great, but we should also remember P4 came out on the PS2 in 2008. Its launch was probably tiny. Anybody still got the numbers for it?

So horizon a new ip is above mass effect on multiple consoles now that we have digital from Sony?
Most likely yes. We're not 100% certain though since we don't know if we have Origin sales included, but for the console versions, unquestionably.
