I was thinking about Banjo 3 as well but then forgot that Rare is developing Sea of Thieves and then I thought that Microsoft probably wouldn't want a beloved IP like Banjo to take away from a new IP. New IPs are hard to sell enough as it is. Although it would be a huge gain. Maybe next E3?
Hopes:
DMC5
Xenoblade 2 Worldwide launch
Dreams:
Kamiya's new game
Predictions:
Retro's new game
Miyazaki's new game
Kamiya is already working on a new game. I thought he was the director on Scalebound and that just got canceled. How many projects is this man juggling?
I leave out DMC5 cause everyone knows I'm super crazy about.
Devil May Cry 5 - I know I said I won't talk about it, but screw that. It's been 9 freaking years since DMC4. Just give me a damn logo already. FFS Capcom.
I get the feeling it's going to be a let down as far as new game announcements go, especially with regards to MS and Nintendo.
I bet that Nintendo continues to drip feed game reveals especially given their positive public outlook right now, which only serves to embolden their decisions. MS will keep on with the same old while pointing at Scorpio and 3rd party game improvements as it's new and shiney; I expect the worst showing from them as they try to inflate the worth of Sea of Thieves and Crackdown. I think most people already expect mostly just new showings of previously revealed games from the Sony lineup.
Im most excited at the prospect of RDR2 and REmake2 showings while most fearful of FFVIIre gameplay. Also looking forward to seeing more of the Sony AAA lineup.
Bethesdas show has been interesting the past couple years as well. They've provided some decent surprises and hints at things to come in their pressers. IDtech 6 Wolfenstein should be quite scrumptious.

We've been busy in Japan! Look out for some very cool stuff on @IGN in the coming weeks. 😁
This would be the biggest thing MS could do for me.My big prediction is that Microsoft has a Marvel exclusive.
Just show me more of God of War and Spider-Man.
Some new characters for Mahvel Infinite are ok too.
Last year, Microsoft's conference was a dud outside of hardware announcements. Here's hoping they've got not just the Scorpio, but games people will be excited about.
Sony just needs to stay the course, although maybe they should put more emphasis on the PS4 Pro and less on VR.
Nintendo just needs to show that 2018 has games.
That's the exact opposite of what I've heard ppl want. E3 doesn't bring some psvr titles that thing will be labeled as dead unfortunately they need to announce some titles and I'm also not sure on you prioritize one over the other very much anyway. I'm just looking at market trends and seeing interest in 4K content growing and interest in VR content slowing. If they have big, meaty VR titles then they should focus on them. If all they've got is the short "experiences" they've had at other conferences, I'd spend that time on stage making a case that the PS4 Pro can basically go toe-to-toe with Scorpio and has more/better exclusives. That's the exact opposite of what I've heard ppl want.
