Yay Japan likes Rythm Tengoku.

VOOK

We don't know why he keeps buying PAL, either.

Btw, sorry this week wasn't completely ready from the get go. US Daylight savings time effed things up for me. I'll have relevant charts up shortly. Taking recommendations.

Can't remember if you've been keeping up with a Pokemon Yellow/Crystal/Emerald/Platinum chart, but I would like to see how each is performing.

I don't think there's ever been a week since the Wii launched that a 360 game was in the top 10, but not a Wii game.

Hopefully this is a clear message to Nintendo that you can't just make any ol piece of shit and expect it to become a megahit. I think Wii Sports Resort will do well though.

Yoshichan

And they made him a Lord of Cinder. Not for virtue, but for might. Such is a lord, I suppose. But here I ask. Do we have a sodding chance?

Famitsu had it at 34k, but MC has it barely in the top 30. Weird.
Perhaps MC isn't counting the bundles toward the software numbers.

Btw, I hope you guys realize that Wii Music is still far away from not being in the top 10 for the upcoming weeks.

I don't care about Wii Music but I think you guys maybe calling for it's death a bit prematurely. Wait until it's out of the top 25 by next week at least.

LBP is being bundled with the system and with Dualshock 3s(why can't that happen in the states?) So, it could have some legs, like Wii Play over there.

An excellent week for Sony. Just like the Japanese games have helped the 360 in recent weeks, the PS3 gets a nice boost from Western products and their new bundles.

How long before the PS3 erases the 360's gains from the last 2 months? Although I think the AC6/Katamari bundles will be pretty big as far as the 360 goes.

Avalon Code meets expectations and Valkyrie Profile looks like it'll do well. Even Inazuma Eleven seems to be holding up somewhat.

Girls Mode should have gotten the Nintendogs treatment with multiple versions, but who knows maybe it will alongside a NA/EU release.

GSG Flash

Nobody ruins my family vacation but me...and maybe the boy!
Best news about this chart is that Wii Music dropped hardcore and is dropping quickly :D

I hope PS3 hardware got a boost.

Wants the largest console games publisher to avoid Nintendo's platforms.

03. [PS3] LittleBigPlanet (SCE) 52,000 / NEW

why is it that japan usually picks up the wrong stuff from the west?

Done and done. I'll be putting together a Top 5 or 10 PS3 chart later on.

GTA is an established franchise. LBP is an unknown.

Holy crap Meier, I thought you were gonna go McCain for sure after that +1 Bush post from 2004.

Good week for PS3 it looks like. Although LBP sales look a little weak. Didn't both Vesperia and IU do better than it? Was thinking that with an install base of 4x the 360 LBP would do better.

Well then you must have no respect for anywhere, cause I don't think LBP will outsell GTAIV anywhere in the world.

Even if it's in at #30, it's weird seeing Gran Turismo 5 Prologue reenter the charts...

edit: Nevermind, it's the Spec III re-release.

I do want to point out that Famitsu had Wii Music @ 23k this week. Not exactly the apocalypse that we're making it out to be. Not good for the Wii X series, but decent for a 3rd week for any other game.
