It's kind of maddening, but 4 of the canceled New 52 titles those are replacing were from week 1, so if you were the sap that was reading Hawk and Dove, Static Shock, OMAC (RIP) and Men of War, you're really still picking up the same number of books.

Ah. i see. Somehow I just assumed the cancellations were more evenly distributed.

God, I know that GI Combat will probably suck, but I can't help myself because dinosaurs. And of course I have to buy Batman Inc. At least it's impossible for ravagers to tempt me.

Transferred from the April Thread (since it's already May somewhere when I posted).

Let's see what did I buy off of Comixology today.

GI Joe A Real American Hero 160 and 161 (I have a lot of catching up).
S.H.I.E.L.D 1-3
Batman #1 -I'll admit cursoriness is making me check out these relaunches.
Captain America 1-3 (99 cent sale)
Punisher 7 (though 2.99 for 22 pages can go fuck itself). Screw it maybe some other time.
The Activity 1
Ghost Projekt 2Eh, I'll get it in a few days

I have to admit I've never really been into Superheroes in the traditional sense, but ah fuck it I'll give a few a try. I'd buy The Boys, but I'm not reading that on the train I love Garth Ennis, but lord knows what will pop up. lol

That said I have no clue what the hell is what because there seem to be 400 different variations, it's confusing (well on the Marvel side at least).
.....

Okay I was shitting on Marvel, but after reading the Chronology backlist they publish for free. It's not as bad.

Liked the new 52 Batman #1, though the way people are drawn...eh not in love. Writting is good so far. Like the overlap of the speech and opening fight.

Do people really read over your shoulder on the train? If so they get what they deserve!
It depends which train I catch in the morning (later=less) or when I leave later on, but yeah it can happen. At least it's better than the NYC subway or PATH train. People don't even try and hide it. Really annoying. I mean they deserve what they get, but I don't want to deal with someone bitching or being snide.

But ya, The Boys gets pretty graphic. And the shit is really coming down now.

Yeah, I mean you can never tell what's about to happen. Titties or a head on a pike might pop up without warning.

Don't forget!

I've really been meaning to get into some Daredevil recently. Can anyone suggest a good RECENT starting point?

No one does but you're awesome for volunteering! I usually grab releases from http://www.previewsworld.com/shipping/newreleases.txt. It auto updates every Monday with the newest stuff.

Oh cool I can do that. I man if someone can help with formatting (pub logo) and (maybe) covers, I don't mind doing the rest. Granted it will be slight biased to my own tastes lol

But yeah I'd be happy to do it. Especially IDW Larry Hama's GI JOE always deserves more love!

Transformers #80.5 (IDW Entertainment)
Dinosaurs Versus Aliens (Liquid Comics)
Atomic Robo & Friends (Red 5 Comics)
Jurassic Strikeforce 5 (Zenescope Entertainment)
Spider-Man Season One (Marvel Comics)

What interests me on FCBD.

I've never gone to a free comic book day in my life. Comic shop is near work but far from home and I never felt like it was worth the drive.

lunch

there's ALWAYS ONE
Whoa, didn't know Free Comic Book Day was soon. Here's hoping my comic store has a copy of the Censored Howard Cruse.

And completely forgot about Dial H; will have to pick that up.

Is there a limit to the FCBD titles you can get?

Most shops will give you a couple free ones and then more if you spend some money at the shop. It's all determined by the store but you probably won't be able to walk in and just request one of everything without spending any cash.

Here is IDW.

I'll add some more in later, but I wanted to make sure everyone is happy with the formatting.

If you're going to post a bunch of books/pubs at once I might recommend using the smaller cover versions (just so you don't fill up the whole page when you post) but otherwise it looks fine to me. :)
