Only one copy of the Devil May Cry 4 game data can be installed to the Hard Disk Drive (HDD). 4.8GB of free space is required to install the game data.

So DMC4 will be the first multiplatform game to have achievements on both systems? :D

It's actually unlockables which the 360 version has also. It's not like achievements for the 360.

Why would they make installing it a requirement? I want to bring it home and jump straight into the game without waiting 45min for it to install. Not a big deal but a bit annoying.

Also I really hope there's more than one way to turn the camera.

... I hate it when developers take the easier route when doing HDD caching...

What is this installing business? Why is it necessary? Don't tell me it's the same for the 360 - HDD required game now? :lol

No you don#t install the game on the 360. My gues is a 360 with HDD will use better chaching.

Five gigabytes is a lot of space to play a game. I wonder how many people who are beginning to fill up their HDDs, especially those who bought the 20 GB system at launch. I know it's easy to exchange the HDDs, but some people don't know how or don't want to. I just hope this doesn't become a standard. No loading times is great, but developers should at least give the option to run completely off the disc.

Wha? Are we hating on devs for using the HDD now? :/

People buying PS3s and complaining that their built-in HDD is required, what the fuck?

That's good. That means they are making use of the standard HDD to it's full potential.

How can you say that? Have you even played the game?

You're part of the problem. It's not like 85 is even close to a low score.

How is it a waste when you're getting no load times?
What if you have a 40GB PS3? Only plan on playing 7 games? Messing about with uninstalling / reinstalling games you want to play? I bought consoles to get away from installing games.

if that thirty minute install at first playtime is accurate, that's ludicrous. it's a console game for christ's sake. not even my big comfy couch can soothe the hurt
