Sonic Adventure 2 coming to XBLA and PSN (and probably Steam)

Rebel Leader

Last screenshot shows the circle button of the Dualshock controller. Also, all Dreamcast ports released by Sega so far have been released on Steam so it's probably going to be on that as well. Release date is October 3rd. New features include widescreen and online leaderboards.

Oh fuck yes please be native widescreen locked 60 fps with improved draw distance/camera/online features/etc

Love this game.

Is this a lot better than the first SA? Never did get around to playing this one.

Sure, why not?

What big/great Dreamcast games are we missing now?
Phantasy Star Online and Shenmue. The two games I want the most too. ESPECIALLY Phantasy Star Online.

Ok, I was itching to replay this game too.

Now re-release a good port of Sonic Adventure and throw a bunch of these downloadable sega games on a retail disk.

Opinions... vary. For every step forward, there's a step back. The end result is that it's a significantly different flavor of the design SA1 pioneered, but not objectively better outside of the chao gardens.

how big is/was shenmue? cant be over 2 gb fpr xbla.
Rough estimation 3.6 (based off of 3 1.2 gig GDroms)

Though a ton of that information was the same across the discs(the assets for the people and places you can return to) cleaning it up could get it down to the limit. (then have JP voices as DLC if needs be).

An absolutely terrible game, worse than Sonic Adventure, glitchy, absolutely puerile voice acting and writing, GLITCHY, difficult to control, nonsense shooting levels, abhorrent emerald quests, obnoxious music, massive focus on the homing attack to make up for fundamental control and design deficiencies, BOOST BOOST BOOST, utterly stupid intrusive and continuous soundbites and cut scenes, GLITCHY and BATS WITH TITS. Its better than Shadow/2006 but that's not exactly any form of compliment.

The game hasn't aged badly because it was shit on day one. It will sell, but to people who may wish they had not chose to relive their childhood.

That Sega devote resources into re-releasing this terrible game over some of their transcendent Saturn back catalogue is a sore point, it will probably sell though.

Some of the best 3D Sonic stages in terms of level design. Can't wait to play Metal Harbour and Green Forest all over again...!

Oh man, this is going to be awesome! There should be online for the Chao Garden and the events. It would be more fun. Just change the VMU/GBA tower to something else.

That really hurts....
