A power-pad style fitness game. Comes with mat.

They used to make a ton of powerpad games on the Famicom, as they were the creators FYI.

Good lord the rack on that Endless Frontier boxart is completely ridiculous.
Looks like I'll have no shortage of Japanese players to get killed by in Lost Planet Colonies at least.

And they made him a Lord of Cinder. Not for virtue, but for might. Such is a lord, I suppose. But here I ask. Do we have a sodding chance?

So is Endless Frontier MonolithSoft's best selling game on a Nintendo system in Japan?

I know it's supposedly not a bad game and all... but :(

Well, the point is still fairly valid.

Though, looking at this from a week on week basis can be deceiving. I don't have the energy to try and figure out software sales for the ytd between the two platforms.

Of course it bombed. No matter how strong the DS sells, you should NEVER resurrect a dead franchise on a handheld. It totally doesn't work.

Same amount of new releases so its fair enough. What this says to me is that the number of core gamers on both platforms is fairly even.

Yes, but if the PSP had more catalog titles charting then it would have cleaned up.

I'm just throwing this stuff out here. I don't pretend to be able to interpret it as well as others on the board, but in my opinion a stronger showing when it comes to older titles shows a stronger platform. Developers don't necessarily have to worry about their titles not selling like gangbusters the first week because they tend to linger around longer.

Take Crisis Core as an example. It didn't do horribly, but hasn't shown its face in the Top 30 for quite some time. I'm sure it's quietly racking up respectable numbers somewhere, but the PSP (and PS3 for that matter) seem to suffer from the same problem where high profile releases sell well the first few weeks and then completely disappear. (Monster Hunter the obvious exception.)
