Read the entire article. Fucked up, super fucked up but apparently all completely legal. It's shit like this and like Scientology that make me just wonder how?

Then again as a society we established ages of consent and adulthood. If these women insist on being there we can't forcibly remove their agency.

I think the FBI should be looking for whatever criminal statute they can pin on the man no matter how minuscule. The goal should be pierce the "control" he has over these women which might make them more willing to consider their external environment. Right now their lives just revolve around him and obviously they've drank the kool aid. But yeah I agree this is essential a cult of R Kelly.

At least with what's being described in the Buzzfeed article, it all sounds above-board. Whatever's going on with the underage women he's waiting until they're legal to move them into his places. It's possible he's having sex with underage girls still but it doesn't look like there's any easily accessible proof, and stuff like physical abuse and assault charges could only stick if these women were willing to testify. And then civil lawsuits get settled away since he's got the money for it.
