That's one of my favorite encounters in the entire series. I love that whole level so damn much.

The only region free 360 games I can even think of are Anarchy Reigns and Virtual On Force.

Halo 4 Modding Tools announced (no, not official ones)
Looks like these guys have had regular access to Halo 4 builds leaked to them by naughty MS employees (or most likely other people who had access to these employees' homes).
- Supports Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach Pre-Beta, Halo: Reach Beta, Halo: Reach, and around 8 pre-release builds of Halo 4.
- Very fast meta editor (scnr, with invisibles, in under 1 second).
- Updated meta editor features (quick scroll to reflexives, Jump To on tag refs)
- Will get you banned from Xbox Live faster than Usain Bolt sharting

Edit: This was an asshole statement. When I stopped and though about it, modding isn't all bad. Main game devs get their start by tinkering with existing games. Many new games are spawned from modding like Day Z. I guess I just don't like online modders that cheat and I also don't think its cool that there seem to be Halo 4 modders already. That's dishonest and its stealing.

Cat Helmet / UNSC tee combo pretty much puts you heads above the average person in terms of Halo expertness. Be proud.
The specific tool that was announced does not aid malicious online hackers in any way according to the devs.
Not sure if that will pan out, but I wouldn't go as far as blanketing all modders in that group.
I pity whoever shells out 100 dollars for that.
Don't know saw amazing modded content, of course I'm against modding and hacking in MM but love some goofy modded maps or gametypes
I sold my Dishonored dlc for $30 yesterday, thought I would only get $5. People man..

That's only 14 of the 22 disc-locked content items. You still have the Imprint Light Rifle Skin and Unicorn Emblem that only come with the console bundle, and the exclusive items that come with the LE, and War Games Map Pass.

Yeah, I have seen it in a few online vids..I can't recall if any were direct feed. Im just saying, it was posted like 12 hours ago, was something we all saw and semi possible to fake. If it were real I feel like the guy would be posting stuff to prove it left and right. But Im glad it isn't, despite wanting to hear more details about MP, etc. I know its impossible, but I would love if this game does not leak ahead of time.

I haven't seen first hand modded content since my buddy had CE with modded crap. Was weird.

For what its worth, there were some fantastic Halo 2 mods.
They don't. Did you read the article or watch the video? They are expecting(And are most likely going to be right) Halo 4's engine and tag system to be similar to previous versions, enough for them to be able to mod without completely rewriting the tool.

I prefer my Halo experience pure, but it's always fun to see what the community can do. It's sad that the consoles are so restricted as they are (and with good reason) so knowing that modders have to work without any official tools at all makes the end results impressive in their own right.
Modding and hacking aren't the same. No one cares about scumbag hackers ruining Live but modders making unique content and stuff is great. Just hope that there's some point in the future were modders get official support again.
