I found this one really weird. There could've been all sorts of juicy storylines stemming from that. To abandon all of those characters after all that buildup was just really bizarre

fuentes brothers and that latina cop from dexter

major part of like 3/4 of the season, one brother gets killed off, the other and iirc the cop are never mentioned ever again in the whole series after that episode, no fucking resolution whatsoever

A character last seen being traded to terrorists in a prisoner exchange, given to them in the trade and then NEVER SEEN AGAIN. No confirmation of death, no nothing. The hilarious thing is fans speculated he'd show back up not just for the rest of that season but for several subsequent seasons.

There's a deleted scene that was released later on which depicts him being rescued

I don't recognize the pictures of anyone posted so far. Probably because I didn't watch the shows they were in though.

You guys should post more forgotten characters from cartoons, maybe then I'll actually recognize one :p

FBI agent Amy Jessup (Meghan Markle) from Fringe. She started off in the season 2 premier and then just vanished. It looked like she was being set up for a major role during the season too.

Kamelion, shapeshifting android (middle) was supposed to be a companion in Doctor Who. He comes aboard, hides for 16 episodes never mentioned once, even when the TARDIS is thought to be destroyed, and then turns up to be written out.

He literally disappeared towards the end of the series. He does not appear once in the seventh (and final) season.

Actually, another kid from another TV show disappeared altogether: Henry from Grounded For Life

According to wikipedia, that's because he and his parents moved out between the fourth and fifth season. He left the show and never came back.

My understanding is that the operator of the Kamelion prop died soon after the production of his intro episode and no one else understood how to work it, which is why this happened.

Oliver in the OC. Even when reminiscing about past relationships they never bring him up.

And the pure half sister want even invited to her dad's funeral

Carrie's sister is a good one.
I liked the character.

Watched the 70th show a few times, but can't remember donna's sister(s).


Leonard's girlfriend in season 2 of big bang theory is a good one too.
3 episodes and suddenly she is never seen again.

Was thinking about this the other day. I mean other than Zoë or Peter, we know what happened to them. But literally, (I'm a few episodes into season 3) almost every character gets no closure.

He has one of the best scenes in all of 30 Rock, though. When his hand is stuck in the vending machine and he's throwing his stuff at the phone to dial a number so he can call for help.

Yeah I agree, I like the actor and the character has some great moments, but it's pretty clear that the show has no idea what to do with him.

Season 2/3 Dana was terrible, I'll give you that, but her interactions with Brody are gold. It's better than Brody completely forgetting that he has a son.

I kinda feel like they just turned her into Amy and then Louise. All three characters are pretty similar. Or maybe its just the way they interact with Josh.

I think you need to watch Friends again. Ben is in the show a fair bit and I'm halfway through season 7 and he's in yet another episode. Definitely not what this thread is about.
