Oh, they've "balanced" that by putting tons of heavy vehicles on all the large maps. See- don't sweat it, it's all good!

In all seriousness, though- it looks like the PP in H4 has pretty weak target tracking. And several of the people who played Exile at PAX reported getting spawn killed repeatedly by tanks for extended periods of time. Basically- BTB is Heavies now. If you get EMP'ed and your vehicle gets destroyed, chances are good that another one will be waiting for you at your base when you respawn.

So has the entire list of vehicles been revealed?

We have:
- Mantis
- Warthog (Gauss and Rocket)
- Mongoose
- Falcon
- Scorpion
- Wraith
- Ghost
- Banshee

I feel like I'm missing some, but it seems like a small list.

I'm disappointed that the Mantis is the only new vehicle added to the sandbox after so many new weapons were added. And the Mantis itself doesn't appeal to me at all. :/

The Mammoth. Although we don't know if it's playable in MP yet.

Yeah I should clarify that I'm only listing MP vehicles. The Mammoth could be on that huge map though...

I remember someone saying that there will be some returning favorites, so does that exclude the Chopper? Has it even been confirmed not to be in the game?

For the record, your idea is fine too, but MS/Yum!/PepsiCo is in it for the money. Truth hurts.

Aesthetically, functionally, fictionally, and sandboxtionally, I think the Mantis looks awesome. I'm worried that it will be overpowered, and if that's the case, I hope it's sparingly seen, but I think it looks like a great addition to Halo.

Considering the massive other gameplay changes and their approach to building the sandbox, cramming in more vehicles would have been a train wreck IMO, aside from the fictional issues. Iron out what they've got in this game before widening the scope, is my outlook.
