Haven't been around these threads for a while, but a quick question: what is "DS+"? And Panther, next thread, could you list them in the correct order (highest to lowest selling). I'm not sure what order you're going by when you list them and then DSi is randomly at the bottom.

DS+ already contains both the DSL and the DSi, therefore the DSi is listed separately at the end of the chart.

I'm not sure how much ToT and ToI sold on the first day, but ToH had a strong first day sales and didn't sell much better for the week. It is selling better first week, but it might drop like a rock and barely reach the LTD of other To DS games.

Yeah. The ToS:KoR started at 151K and struggled past 200K.

I really don't think so. I'm at work so I can't access a lot, but I'm pretty sure Tales games rarely show anything resembling legs. (of course maybe it will do better on DS?)

What were your expectations for Let´s Tap? It is a low budget and very quirky game with no marketing so it´s no surprise for me. Actually I think 5k is a decent number for what it is.

Nintendo should be fucking happy with the performance of Jungle Beat for Wii. They probably only needed to sell 5,000 copies to make a profit on it, and they dectupled it. It will be interesting to see how the Pikmin one does, the franchise is did better on the Gamecube then Jungle Beat.

I dont know about the expecations for Let's Tap, but Jonnyram mentioned earlier in this thread that there were at least some commercials for Lets Tap:

I dont know how much commercials there is (or has been) for Let's Tap in Japan in general though :\ Vinnk mentioned (which is quoted the same post that i linked to above) that he hadnt seen any ads for it and that no one talked about Let's Tap in his town.

The game looks to be a low budget game as you say, so maybe that the developer and/or the publisher actually made (or will make) some money on it already? :)

Need For Speed Undercover were released for the PS3, it is in the Famitsu numbers which about 19.000 copies sold :) I dont know about Prince of Persia though, but i guess it was released for the Xbox 360 only this week in Japan.

So, NamBan is expecting 400,000 sales for Tales of Hearts...Considering the first shipment was ~250,000 (200,000 anime, 50,000 CG) and has sold ~141,000 in total first week it's going to have to hang on like crazy to reach 400,000!
