Yes.
Shame on you publishers for not funding "basically Gears of War with kissing." Shame. |

This blows, I was really looking forward to this. Chili Con Carnage is awesome and this looked like co-op Chili Con Carnage which would be great fun. I actually sent Deadline an e-mail asking about this game a few months ago and got nothing in return
Why couldn't they just self-publish on PSN/XBLA or something? The game doesn't look like a huge $20 million project, I'm sure they could get away with putting it up for download for $20 or something Serious bummer though |

Screenshots to remember what it looked like:
![]() ![]() ![]() Ans teaser trailer: http://gamevideos.1up.com/video/id/17394 I was a part of a focustesting group that was introduced to the early concept two years ago, and it sounded pretty solid, and had some good ideas. Too bad they didn't get a publisher for it. Last edited by Vinterbird : 01-30-2009 at 08:44 PM. |

Fuck... I was REALLY looking forward to this one. First read a blurb about it more than a year ago and was intrigued. Such a shame really, didn't see anything but that one shot...

Aw man, that is freaking heartbreaking. It may have been Gears of War with kissing, but the setting and scenario were just so unique. Depression era Bonnie and Clyde-style flight across the American heartland? There's nothing else like it! Damned publishers. If Ride to Hell can get funding and distribution, I don't see why this can't.
On the bright side, at least we won't have to read a Dave Halverson review that's just five-hundred words about how the red-headed chick is so hot... |

Needed more terrorists, aliens, nazis and zombies.
I temper my disappointment by realizing that the appeal to this game is the setting and not really the base mechanics. There'll be plenty of opportunities to shoot things this year; it just doesn't look like this'll be one of them. |
