if u live near a headshop (california has tons) get a sherlock bubbler. prolly $40-60 and the best piece to use. little hand pieces are great for concerts and sneak-a-toke situations but otherwise they shouldnt be used.

Recently I have been wanting to try out weed, however, I have one big ass road block. I have asthma; its kind of severe (I take advair every day for it) but I have read online that pot could actually help rather than hurt. So my question is should I try and see what happens? Or stay away?

Either in brownies, or with a vaporizer.

If you do it properly, a vaporizer would be a lot easier and less of a hassle.

I had pretty bad asthma (not severe mind you) and since I started smoking I haven't had one asthma attack. Each person is different however and the only way to find out is to try for yourself although I reccomend a bong or a bubbler as the smoke is less harsh.
Edit: But as others have said, vaporizor or eating would be best if you can manage it.

Friend picked up a bag of Orange Kush. Love it when bud has that citrus streak, really kinda amazing how different strains can have such different tastes.

For the Superbowl tomorrow we are playing "smoke for every penalty"... I hope it's a sloppy undisciplined game, (fuck the Steelers). 'Cause the Vaporizer is going to get a workout.

I have asthma too...not as severe as it sounds you do. Never had any problems with weed but obviously you could try to avoid inhaling smoke. Definitely don't smoke it with tobacco and don't let your first puffs be on the butt-end of a spliff (the smoke is thicker, hotter, and dirtier).

Whatever you do, don't smoke dirty street "hash" because it's got plastic and all kinds of crap in it.

Try and get hold of a vaporiser or eat it. If eating it, just be careful not to eat a whole bunch on your first time because it will kick in big time a little later on.

I've got one of those. It's a quality piece of kit.

I use a grinder like this - http://gratefulbuys.com/product_info...FQu-GgodiiGubQ - and it separates any crystals that fall off during the grinding.

It did...20 years ago. The White Widow legend sure is taking a long time to die in the US.

Like that or that exact one? I'd like to know how that one is with the actual crystal-catching, as most tower grinders are bloody terrible at it (net is too fine, holes are too few and far apart, etc). This one looks like it has a perfect amount of holes and the net looks great... but $84 for a grinder! :(

Yes that exact one. The Space Case grinders are by far the best.

The pollen catching is brilliant. I've had mine for 8 years, never once cleaned it, but it doesn't stick at all (in contrast to an old plastic grinder that got completely jammed). It's slightly magnetised too so the lid doesn't drop off. Grinds up the herb brilliantly and it's always nice to find a think layer of pollen in the bottom of your grinder!

It is pricey compared to normal grinders but I think it's worth it. One off investment and it works. Plus you feel like you're getting more value for your weed because you get the secondary pollen.

They do a smaller version if you want...or a larger version if you want!

More anecdotal evidence, but my sister has always had severe asthma and ever since she started smoking, she doesn't even carry an inhaler anymore. I'd say to you, try it once and see how you feel.

My bong is clear glass, so when ever it does get really dark looking I use 420 cleaner. It cheap and works as advertised.

Before smoking I'll sometimes rinse out the bong with warm water and kosher salt to eat up the little resin that might be sitting.

rubbing alcohol + salt for abrasion. put that mix in and shake it up and the grime will slowly come off. rinse with hot water and voila!

You have to actually inhale it... into your lungs, not just your mouth. Once your mouth is full, open it and draw a big breath. You may immediately feel like coughing, try not to do that. You can tell someones never smoked pot when they hit the pipe and have big puffy cheeks and just blow the smoke back out of their mouth. You have to breathe it in like you do with air.

Inhale more until it's in your lungs.

Then release when you can't hold it in anymore.

I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly either. What I do is I light the bowl, and inhale like I would a cigar, into my mouth, with a little going into my lungs.. After I've inhaled what I can into my mouth, I let the carb go, while simultaneously lowering my breathing pressure on my pipe a little, so the smoke can rush into the pipe. Then I let my mouth slightly come off the rim of the pipe, and suck the smoke in my mouth, in the pipe, and cold air around the pipe into my lungs.

Is soft weed bad? Because I got some good shit, FINALLY (i normally smoke brick weed). This stuff I got has orange hairs and a few crystals (nothing like what you guys get).. and it was pretty soft.. I smoked 1 J and got high so it was all good, but was wondering if I should let it cure..? But I don't know exactley how to do that and for how long, and what does curing actually do to the THC? Like do i get a stronger high, and why would I get a stronger high?

You ever accidentally inhale a cigar and it burns the shit out of your lungs? Thats what you need to do with pot, it won't be nearly as harsh though. If you can blow the smoke out of your nose, you know it's been in your lungs. If it's been in your lungs, and you've held it in there for a while, and you're out of pot and not high you either got shitty pot or something else entirely.
