This month's Games with Gold are in. They are Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light. Time to activate my Xbox Live Gold subscription code that I've been sitting on for the past month. I might finally have a reason to turn on my 360 again after going nearly a month with turning it on.

The 360 web store won't use your Xbox wallet.

For instance, I bought Mass Effect when it was on sale recently, and despite having ~$100 in my Xbox wallet, I had to pay the three bucks or whatever it was by credit card.

It'll (probably) be as cheap/cheaper during the end of the year sale. The fifth episode would have been out for quite a while by then and if there were any plans for a physical release, we'd probably know about it.


Played and enjoyed Remember Me recently and want to give this a go but I don't try episodic stuff until all of the episodes are out.

Yeah, I liked Remember Me and everything I've head about this has been positive, so I've been looking at jumping aboard. I just try to avoid digital when I can. Shame if there won't be one.

Maybe I'll grab the first episode at this price and if the season pass drops for the year end, I'll give myself a Christmas present.

first week deals with gold can many times be cheaper than the $59.99 amazon price. again, gold sales can knock games down by a lot. I don't care about resale, I don't sell games anymore. Switching apps without putting in discs is priceless to me.

I'm so glad I don't buy from Amazon, then. My local Mom 'n Pop Shops do better, and I get the added bonus of getting to know the people working there, who in turn hook me up on deals or just giving away point of purchase stuff I have interest in.

Meanwhile, I have never taken issue with swapping discs, so this can't be a point against physical.

Nifty stalemate, that. You can have digital so you don't have to swap discs, and I can have physical so I don't have to put up with digital versions of games if I don't want to.

Seems to be a legit reduction. The 360 version had "Free play day, presented by Skittles" added to the description. The One version had "*Free play day on September 5th, 2015 presented by Skittles." added.

I had to use the US 360 dash to get it for free (UK was asking for full price). The One version is up (in the US). Try it free link.

I will totally get the first one. It has the best atmosphere by far. Mission structure was really repetitive, but story and atmosphere wise it is the best AC in my opinion. I mean, look at the combat! It was way more serious than it is nowadays.
