Whenever I preorder something it just says it will be charge on x date. Is there a way to make sure I get charged at the preorder date?


P.S Dont lecture me on "dont preorder stuff" etc I know this risks...

To be sure, just add the total funds and leave them there. Otherwise, they will try to charge to the card you have attached. There's no way to pay ahead on the EU PSN.

I believe they take funds a few days before, so if you don't want money taken out before release day, just pre-order as late as possible.
