Luigi. I guess I wanted to feel different by liking the "lesser" of the two brothers. But I think Luigi's Mansion makes a strong case for him, separate from Mario. And even what Sakurai did with him in Brawl is great and unique.

I've always loved Big Boss (even more than Solid Snake!), but I'm replaying MGS right now and I'm remembering how much I love Meryl, too. I think she has a great rapport with good ol' Solid Snake. Those two characters go well together.
