I just checked shopto and they are offering san andreas for ps3 physically priced at £18, way to much if you ask me hoping for a cheaper price on PSN.

sorry if old news as I never have seen it was coming physically to ps3.

If it's anything like the Xbox 360 version, avoid like the plague.

Probably like the 360 version which is just a shitty port of the mobile version. Best way to experience this game is still on PS2. PC for SA-MP.

Wasn't that just a weird port of the iOS version or something?

If this is anything like that this is a really bizarre release. Even the 360 version's existence was strange in itself.

how is PS2 the best way to play? the game looks bad on everything essentially, but holy shit does it look bad on PS2 in comparison to xbox and PC

What's the purpose of this? GTA SA is already on PS3 as a PS2 classic. Only buy this version if you want less music I guess (and trophies presumably).

Most of the stations are intact, but more memorable songs got pulled, most likely due to increased licensing costs. Same issue on PC, unless you get a downgrade patch as R* took the cheap way out and ruined everyone's copy. gta's page on wikia has info on it: http://gta.wikia.com/wiki/Radio_Stations_in_GTA_San_Andreas (360 special edition and PS3 version are the same thing: port of the mobile one)
