I cosplayed as 3 different characters (no new ones this year though) on 3 different days during AX, and while a hand-full of people took photos, I unfortunately only have access to this one. Taken during a small party at a friend's hotel room near the end of day 1. Lots of alcohol was involved.

Comic con international definitely has been on a steep decline on the number of cosplay and the quality and craftsmanship of them. Sorry, putting on a shirt and a cheap $5 mask is not cosplay. Being really tight with the cosplay community, I also heard lots of stories of harassment towards Cosplayers in Comic Con international and Anime Expo.
It's really sad because nerd conventions like these places used to be "safe spaces" where people could geek out with fellow nerds, and now it seems that the more casual attendees see cosplayers as less people expressing love towards characters and challenging their skills is costume making, and more as fetishization and sexualization.
I am seeing more and more cosplayers moving from the big "mainstream events" to smaller conventions because they don't like going to cons to get harassed and to have props broken.

This feels odd to me since I personally know her and have done many Photoshoots with her.
