Hour Tour details

Quote:
Do you want to experience Xbox 360™ before its official launch next month.
Well now’s your chance.

4 Cities, 4 Events, 360 Hours

The 360 Hour Tour will be the public’s first chance to play Xbox 360, the start of the next generation of gaming and entertainment - before it is available in the UK on December 2nd.

Things kick off at The Lighthouse in Glasgow on the 4th November, before making it’s way southwards to Birmingham’s Custard Factory, stopping off at The Light in Leeds and culminating in London’s Mercer Street Studios – a week before launch.

Play Perfect Dark Zero, beat your best mate on Project Gotham Racing 3, go solo on Kameo, its up to you. You just need to turn up at the venue, at the times below and get that head start on your mates by tuning your skills on Xbox 360.

PDZ playable? That's a surprise. It'll be interesting to hear reactions from non-industry folk.

Cool, if I have nothing better to do I may head to the Glasgow one. Probably wont mind you, I wouldn't be in awe as much on launch day if I had already played one.

Also for the UKers among us, I think theres a TV programme on BBC2 on Friday@7pm (I think) about Microsoft taking on Sony with the 360.

Yeah, the show is called Microsoft’s Big Game Gamble and the "sky guide" information thing says it is supposed to tell the story of Microsoft as they release a new version on the Xbox console to take on the mighty Playstation...

Should be interesting but judging by BBC's older game programs I expect to be letdown, I have it set to record though :)

I gotta give it to Microsoft of Europe, they do put there all into letting consumers try before they buy and put on a decent promotional campaign.

Not really interested in the 360 but I might pop along to The Lighthouse if I can convince my friends to go as well.

It's the money program though, isn't it? It's usually well researched regardless of the subject.

Yep as is the north east, i live in sunderland so its a pretty big hike to scotland or the other spots. Surely the north east warrents a stop even in newcastle or middlesbrough.

And North West England (where I live) has been completely ignored as well :( It's stupid because Manchester is one of the biggest cities in the country and it just gets ignored for things like this
