Cryengine 3 is designed to be pretty future focused so I don't think we will see a new engine from crytek for awhile. Tweak to 3 sure but I don't think 4 is around the corner.

This is logical to me. Nintendo wants to be taken seriously again for 3rd party games. When 3rd parties switch over to UE4 not being capable of it would be a disaster. Even if they can only manage 720P with UE4 its better than no support at all

Running UE4 doesn't only mean that the Wii U has certain power, but also that a bunch of third party stuff could come for the console now.
