Kai Leng just seemed really stupid. Like, the idea of a Cerberus super agent was kinda cool but Leng was like, trying too hard to look cool and badass. It's especially funny with how easy he was to beat and how Shep beats him.

There is actually 1 ending, three colors, no payoff from 5 years of gaming, and a chubby kid who casts spells and mesmorizes Shepard into not asking any questions and choosing from 3 options.

Basically, your choices throughout the series don't really matter. You get three arbitrary choices, all of which lead to the same ending movie with a different coloured explosion. Whatever you do, society as we know it is basically destroyed. Also, the motivation of the enemies is explained in under ten minutes by an unexplained god-like entity that takes the form of a random child who dies early on in the game.

When I was in line to pick up the game a lot of people were hating on the other classes. The underlying complaint being MOAR GUNZ. While I don't know how many people will have played on action mode I bet the over whelming majority will still play as a soldier, which is too bad since they are terrible.

Still haven't seen my version of Kei Leng's death. Because Thane and the Salarian from ME1 were dead, the ambassador dies, but Miranda survived. So, my Shepard says something like "this time, you don't have your damn gun ship" If I remember, I'll record it and youtube it.


Almost sounds like it's "hard" to actually have Kei Leng kill the abassador. Because he did, when I got upstairs to confront udina, he pulled out a doctored video, that made shepard look like I had shot the ambassador.

When I did Synergy it was Joker and EDi, then as the camera was pulling back Javik was walking out.

When I did Destroy it was Joker and Javik, then as the camera was pulling back Liara came out.

In another Destroy video I've seen Joker and Garrus, no one comes out.

I think they're all the same asides from different colors of explosions.

Synergy: Shep runs into the light and becomes data, crumbles. Reapers go all green (not sure if they were destroyed, can't remember). Ship crash lands and Joker all green-indocrinated comes out of the ship.

Destroy: Shep blows up the machine and we get red light. Reapers explode, people cheer. Crash landing, no indocrination. Then in my ending I got the Shep lives thing.

I'm okay with the Destroy ending I got.

He does take a few shots at him from a distance. I'd have to imagine kinect shields would be the reason why you'd get so close to execute someone. That was a big deal in the novels and such, but the games sometimes likes to forget about them in cutscenes.

Also given that Kai Leng is simply muscle and not a full villain, I don't see anything wrong with him. I wonder if the fact I've read Retribution (and not Deception) makes me more inclined to like him.
